What’s Up Buddies? WUB Hobbies is a Lethbridge art studio where kids, grown-ups, and everyone in-between can get creative, try something new, improve their skills, and have a LOT of fun. We offer Canvas and Miniature Paint Nights, Birthday Parties, and Corporate Events.
Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush or you already have a collection of paint at home, WUB is a place to get creative without taking yourself too seriously.

About Us
Welcome to WUB Hobbies, where creativity is encouraged, mistakes are survivable and nobody gets thrown into a dungeon for painting outside the lines.
WUB Hobbies was built by four family members who love creating, learning, and having fun together. At the center of this operation is Monnu Bains, our featured artist and teacher. Monnu is an award-winning painter with a background in teaching. He is also left-handed and partially colourblind, which means he understands that everyone may experience art a little differently.
Kind words
His workshop was well prepared and well equipped, he gave or lent us all the tools and materials we needed. With his overhead camera and projector setup, he was able to give everyone live close-ups of his process. His patience, professionalism and love for the hobby made the workshop a wonderful experience.
Took a painting class with WUB Hobbies and it was fantastic. Monnu was very professional, patient and organized during his class. I had a great time and learned a lot. Brought a friend along with me and it was a great night out. Thanks Monnu!

The basing class was tremendous. I learned so much. Going into it, I wasn't sure if I had much interest in basing but thought I would give it a try, and boy am I glad I did. The instructor was amazing. I would do everything you can to bring him back for next year.
